How the site is made accessible

Accessibility target: the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. Every page of this site is built with that standard in mind, from its text to its forms.

Here is what that involved. Headings are set out in a sensible sequence. Each photo carries a text alternative. Form fields carry labels and clear error messages. The contrast of text and colors was checked. Every link and button describes what it does. The pages use real text rather than a picture of it. Pages adapt to phones and to zoom. Every control can be used with a keyboard, and the focused item is always visible.

All pages go through automated accessibility tests, and a check at desktop and mobile sizes comes before publishing any change.

When something goes wrong

No site is perfect. Photo descriptions may leave out some details, and if something does not work for you, we treat it as a mistake to correct.

Tell us where you got stuck by calling (586) 302-1407 or writing to office@madisondoorsgates.com. We will respond and in the meantime give you the same information by phone or e-mail.
