Book a Visit
Tell us about the gate and what it is doing, and we will arrange a time to come take a look.
Request a Gate Visit
A few lines about the gate are enough to start.
Photos help. The form takes text only, so after you send it, email your photos to office@madisondoorsgates.com.
What to Have Ready
None of this is required, but each item saves a question later and helps us plan the visit.
- The gate type and style: swing or sliding, single or double, steel, aluminum or wood.
- The opener brand, if you know it. It is usually on a label on the operator or the control box.
- What the gate is doing, and when it started. A gate that slowed down over months points somewhere different from one that stopped after a storm.
- Whether it is stuck open or stuck closed right now.
- The power and remote status: does the opener hum, click or beep, and does the remote’s light come on?
- Access to the gate: whether we can reach it from the street or need someone there to let us in.
- Photos of the gate, the hinges or rollers, and any label on the opener, to email after you send the form.
After You Send It
Your request comes straight to us. We get back to you by phone or email, whichever you picked, and arrange a time to come take a look.
If the gate is stuck and you would rather talk it through now, a call is quicker during the hours we answer the phone. Before you call about a gate that will not move, the troubleshooting guide lists the checks that are safe to make yourself.
Questions About Booking
What happens after I send the form?
We read the request and get back to you by the contact method you chose, to arrange a time to come take a look at the gate. If something in the description is unclear, we ask then.
Can I send photos of the gate?
Yes, and they help. The form takes text only, so send your request first, then email the photos to office@madisondoorsgates.com with your name in the subject line so we can match them up.
Do I need to know the opener brand?
No. If there is a label on the operator housing or the control box, a photo of it is useful, but we can identify the opener on the visit.
My gate is stuck open right now. What should I do first?
Switch the opener off at its power switch or breaker, use the manual release only if you know how it works, and keep people and cars clear of the gate. Then call us and describe what it did before it stopped.
Do you look at gates outside Warren?
Yes. We work in Warren, Sterling Heights, Roseville and nearby communities. Put your ZIP code in the form and we will tell you.
